The Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine intermunicipal transport authority received funding of nearly $ 500,000 from the Climate Municipalities Program.
The funds were allocated for the development of a sustainable mobility plan which should lead to the creation of a transport platform in each of the six MRCs in the region.

The 3-year project will begin with a study of current mobility in the RCMs.
It also aims to help elected officials make decisions in mobility and land use planning.
