The resignation of Ann Béland from the Board of Directors of the Integrated Health and Social Services Center of Gaspésie is unrelated to recent allegations of hiring personnel with family ties to members of management.
Ann Béland would like to point out that her departure is rather justified by a lack of transparency in human resources concerning the loss of management personnel.
Ann Béland also admits that she was not aware of the anonymous letter published in the media denouncing the hiring of regular staff who would have family ties with executives. She adds that in our region it is likely that members of the same family will work at the CISSS, as long as the hiring process respects the rules.
