Camrose Police Service Report to April 3, 2021


Camrose, Alberta – April 3, 2021 – A female reported that her vehicle had been hit by another vehicle while it was parked on 41 street in the 5200 block. Parts from the offending vehicle were left on scene and Police are investigating the hit & run collision.

Staff at a convenience store reported that a female seemed confused and was asking for money. Police attended and EMS was contacted to transport her to St. Mary’s hospital.

April 2, 2021

Police received a report of a theft of welding cable stolen from a welding truck while parked on 49th avenue near Charlie Killam School. Police are investigating the theft.

A female contacted Police when she returned home to find her husband who was grossly intoxicated and causing issues. Police attended and located the male outside where he was arrested for public intoxication and held in custody until sober.

A male reported that a female had attempted to steal his truck while it was idling outside of his garage. The male prevented the theft from occurring and the female ran away from the scene. Police were able to recover property belonging to the female inside the vehicle and are attempting to identify her.

April 1, 2021

A black GMC Sierra was stolen overnight while parked at a residence on 71 street in the 4900 block.

Police responded to a 911 call where a female holding a kitchen utensil had threatened to harm family members. Police arrested the female but then later the family did not want any additional Police involvement. The family is looking into obtaining assistance with her mental health and addictions.
