Canada prepares for the 2021 census

The Government of Canada is looking for personnel to carry out the census operation
Every 5 years, Ottawa performs the same operation. To do this, 8 to 10 team leaders with a supervisory function are sought as well as around 100 enumerators.
Louise Gosselin, deputy director, responsible for the 2021 population census for the East of the country, explains that the personnel sought must like being in contact with people, being outside and working as a team.
The operation will take place much of the spring until the beginning of summer.
The teams will adjust their practice, especially during home visits, according to public health instructions which may change according to the evolution of the pandemic and the vaccination.
