The public health department of Gaspésie confirms a new case of COVID-19 in the MRC Côte-de-Gaspé.
The report also reveals 1 new cure for a total of 1,663 out of the 1,714 people affected by the virus since the start of the pandemic.
Currently, 5 cases are active in the region and there are no more people hospitalized.
The MRC Côte-de-Gaspé has the largest number of confirmed cases since last March with 434 cases followed by Rocher-Percé 432, Avignon with 379 and Bonaventure for 379 cases. Haute-Gaspésie and Îles-de-la-Madeleine complete the picture with 37 and 36 cases respectively. The number of deaths remains unchanged at 46.
