COVID-19: There are 3 new cases in Gaspésie

The Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine region has 3 more people infected with the coronavirus according to the daily report from the CISSS de la Gaspésie.

The MRCs of Côte-de-Gaspé, Bonaventure and Avignon each have 1 more case, bringing the total to 1,690 positive cases since the start of the pandemic.

Currently, 9 people are hospitalized and 6 new healings have been recorded.

There are still 43 active cases in the territory, including 26 in Rocher-Percé, Côte-de-Gaspé 6 and Avignon 5, while Bonaventure, Haute-Gaspésie and the Islands have less than 5.

Quebec has 2,132 new cases of COVID-19 and 64 more people have died.
