Didsbury RCMP execute search warrant resulting in the seizure of drugs, forged documents, and counterfeit money – Canada Police Report


Didsbury, Alberta – Didsbury RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in the Town of Didsbury, on Tuesday, Feb. 23. An extensive search was conducted and evidence was seized by police.

Morgan Stephen Winter (47) of Didsbury, Alta. was arrested and has been charged with:

Possession of a controlled substance (x3)

Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x3)

Sara Joy Hollar (30) of Red Deer, Alta. was arrested and has been charged with:

Possession of a controlled substance (x3)

Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x3)

Possession of a prohibited weapon (x2)

Fail to comply with release order

After a judicial hearing, both Morgan Winter and Sara Hollar were remanded in police custody and are scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on Feb. 26.

The drugs seized by police are suspected to be 1.3 grams of Heroin, 6 grams of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, 27 grams of Cocaine, over 1 litre of Gamma Hydroxybutyrate (GHB), and 42 tabs of Buprenorphine. Police also seized counterfeit bank notes, and multiple Social Insurance Number and identification cards from various victims.

The investigation into this matter continues.
