Regarding the four residents affected by the virus, the CISSSstates that epidemiological investigations are in progress and that families have been notified.
In addition, two managers, an infection prevention and control nurse and a nurse from the SWAT team were dispatched to CHSLDof Maria to control the outbreak.
The CISSSensures that there is no mobility of personnel and that all employees wear the necessary personal protective equipment.
Of the three other cases reported on Sunday, two are also located in the MRCd’Avignon, while one is in the MRC Côte-de-Gaspé.
