Gaspésie is not living its first curfew

The Gaspé is not experiencing its first curfew. In 1942-43, the tip of the Gaspé was a strategic point of the Second World War. A curfew is established there. The Battle of the St. Lawrence is an important moment in the history of the Gaspé and has marked many citizens, including historian Fabien Sinnett, who was 10 years old at the time.
