Out of the blue, YouTube demonetized our entire channel, and there is no real reason why. Then, they gave us a strike — meaning we can’t post new videos or have our live streams — on a months old video for something that other news outlets, like CNN or CBC, have posted on their channels as well. And it just happened to be a video about how if these Silicon Valley giants could silence president Trump — he was still sitting in the Oval Office at the time — they could silence anyone.
We simply can’t rely on any Big Tech anymore.
So we’ve made a mobile app so that you can always access Rebel News wherever you go. But we can’t trust Apple to keep us in their App Store, so we made it without them. And now, it’s even easier than ever to have Rebel News on your iPhone.
Step 1: Simply go to RebelNews.com in your Safari mobile browser and tap the share button on the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: When the menu comes up, just tap “add to home screen.”
Step 3: It will then ask you to name the app — I recommend “Rebel News” — and that’s it, you’re done.
You can now enjoy the Rebel News app on your mobile device.
The process is similar for other devices and other browsers. And if you need help, you can always contact us through email at: [email protected].
Enjoy the app!
