Red Deer RCMP responding to unfolding incident in Highland Green, please avoid the area

Red Deer, Alberta – (4:54 PM) The Red Deer RCMP are responding to a report of a possible explosive device in the parking lot of an apartment building at 103 Hermary Street. The area has been contained, and public access has been blocked off.

In the interest of safety, the public are asked to please avoid the area until further notice. The Explosive Device Unit has been called, and Red Deer RCMP remain on scene. An update will be provided as it becomes available.
