Saskatoon Suspicious Death now being Investigated as Homicide #2 for 2021 – Canada Police Report

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – The SPS Major Crime Section is investigating the city’s second homicide of the year.  On Thursday afternoon police were called to a residence in the 700 block of 33rd St W.  The body of a 29 year old woman was discovered in the house.  Police are not releasing the manner of death or the identity of the victim until family can be located.  There have been no arrests however investigators do not believe there is any threat to the public.

BACKGROUND

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Patrol officers along with detectives from the Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Section are investigating a suspicious death related to an incident that occurred late on Thursday afternoon.

Just after 5:00 PM, Thursday (Feb. 18th), Police were called to a home in the 700 block of 33rd Street West after a resident reported the deceased body of an adult female. Details are limited at this point. More information will be released by the Major Crime Section when available.
