The Liberal Party and its new leader want to woo the regions by creating a charter that will be enshrined in a law to end wall-to-wall programs.
Dominique Anglade considers that it is essential to change the way things are done in Quebec to allow the regions to develop according to their priorities.
To do this, she recently presented a draft charter of regions which will be drawn up following internet consultations across the province.
The main aim of the charter will be for the regions to decide their own futures and then for the government to provide the necessary tools for their development.
Consultations on the creation of the charter will take place for the Gaspé on March 23.
