Wood Buffalo RCMP charge male for offences against MP David Yurdiga – Canada Police Report

Fort McMurray, Alberta — On Feb. 16. 2021, Wood Buffalo RCMP received a complaint from the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms, from the House of Commons in Ottawa, advising of an allegation of threats against a Member of Parliament (MP), David Yurdiga.

Fort McMurray RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) took carriage of this investigation.

On Feb. 16, 2021, Fort McMurray RCMP GIS arrested Bradley Love for uttering threats and indecent communication.

Bradley Love (62) of Fort McMurray has been charged with:

· Indecent telephone call with intent to alarm

· Utter threats to cause death or bodily harm

Love was released on an undertaking with conditions to attend Fort McMurray Provincial Court on March 17, 2021.

As this matter is now before the courts, no further details will be provided.

Fort McMurray RCMP can advise that Parliament Hill Security has taken measures to assess the situation and have also taken measures to ensure the safety of MP David Yurdiga and his staff.
